The venesection diary is an essential item for patient’s diagnosed with the iron overload disorder; Haemochromatosis. The diary is an interactive guide to assist patient’s through their blood letting experience. For this reason, it was essential that the diary was designed in a way that was quick to digest and easy for patients to engage with. Haemochromatosis UK also requested that the diary be eye catching, when on display alongside other health related booklets, so the simple but bold cover was designed with this in mind.
