In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Mini Morris Project was born. After initially providing local children with free art kits, including a custom designed plaster model of master of the Arts & Crafts Movement, William Morris, it later became a retail product in its own right. The swing tag was designed carefully, ensuring the balance between capturing the legacy of William Morris’s iconic designs, and the art/craft nature of the product was walked delicately. After researching typefaces and patterns from the Arts & Crafts Movement, I created a modern, yet nostalgic, swing tag – with custom pattern and lettering.
